Longarm Handiquilter
Learn all about longarm, especially Handiquilter, and how they can speed up the production of your quilts.
Do I need a longarm?
Instead of a domestic or industrial machine?
The quilting market is growing more and more each year, not only in Brazil but all over the world. Brazil is considered one of the countries with the most entrepreneurs in the world, occupying 5th place in the global ranking. And in the crafts market, it is expected to generate around R$10 million in business. So, the quilting service does have a market and could grow even more.
And the question I leave is, for those who like to quilt, do you really need a longarm for quilting? Can't I work with a domestic or industrial machine?
My answer is: Yes, you can, there is a market for everyone!
But in this course I will talk about why to use a longarm instead of a domestic machine, what are the advantages and most importantly at what point it would be better to invest in a Longarm than to continue using an industrial or domestic machine.
When to buy a longarm machine?
In the course I will share my own experience when purchasing a Longarm and what factors I took into consideration before purchasing so that I could make the best decision and not suffer financial harm, since the investment is considerable.
The Tania Mogari Quilter brand was born in October 2017 as a quilting service and the Longarm machine made a significant difference in the brand's growth.
Knowing the advantages and understanding all the parts of the machine and its functions is really fundamental for the growth and quality of your quilting.
I have a Handiquilter longarm
Handiquilter brand longarms and their accessories that are sold here are produced and shipped from the United States and one of the biggest difficulties I encountered was the lack of support and knowledge from the Brazilian representative regarding the functions of the quilting panel and issues such as accessories, needles and threads.
It was only by watching tutorials, videos on YouTube, and trial and error in practice that I learned and understood the functions of the panel and what they are used for when carrying out the work. These tutorials and videos were only in English and, fortunately, I am familiar with them, but not everyone has this possibility.
For this reason, I wanted to create this course and make it available to you so that Brazilian users would not suffer as much or take as long as it took me to fully understand the machine.
In this course I show and demonstrate in practice all the functions and modes that the machine has on the panel and what each of them is for according to the quilting design style and with this you obtain greater results in the quality of your quilting, better optimization of time and more durability and care for your machine.
I guarantee that if I had this information when I purchased the machine I would have saved myself some problems, produced more and better!

About Me
I am a Longarm Quilter and Quilt Project Designer. I was born in Londrina, PR and have been living with my husband and 2 boys ever since. I have a degree in Business Administration and have been an English teacher for many years. I love crafts and nature like my mother.
It was about 12 years ago that I discovered the world of quilting and I haven't stopped since. I created my brand Tania Mogari Quilter in 2017 and I can only be thankful for the wonderful results in my personal and professional life. I took courses with renowned international quilters such as: Linda Taylor, Judy Madsen, Nathalia Bonner in quilting and Karen Kay Buckley in machine applique, Jenny from MissouriQuiltCo. in patchwork, Elizabeth Chappel in Quilt Pattern Design, Shannon Brinkley Studio and others.
I want to share how rewarding quilting can be. Join me for The Art of Quilt Course. I can't wait to meet you and work together!
Frequently Asked Questions
How long do I have access to the course?
The course is valid for one year, meaning that registrants will be able to access the classes, support materials and recorded live classes for one year.
If I can't attend the weekly live Q&A class via ZOOM, will I lose content?
Don't worry, you won't miss any content. All weekly live classes will be recorded and then inserted into the modules, so if you can't attend that week's live class, you can access those classes within the course at your preferred time.
What are the payment methods for the Course?
Credit card (in cash or installments), bank slip or Pix.
Can I take the course on my cell phone?
Yes, you can. My suggestion is that you take the course using a computer, laptop or even a tablet, since the viewing screen is larger than a cell phone. This makes it much easier to make the "The Four Loves" quilt. But you can do it just by accessing it on your cell phone.
