Projeto Capa de Journal

Journal Cover Project

Hello Quilter,

Every year, on Teachers' Day, I make a point of giving a little gift to each of my children's teachers. And that's quite a lot... Teachers from school, after-school activities, and so on. This year I decided to give each of them a notebook, but with a personalized cover! I liked the result so much that I decided to make one for myself, and that's when this mini-project and tutorial on how to make this Journal cover was born!

The Journal Cover project has a step-by-step guide with images on how to make the cover regardless of the size of the notebook (oh, and it can be a diary, journal, notebook, etc.). I put it together using a quick technique of how to make 4 flying geese at once, but you can make it any way you want, a nine-patch block, a star block, or simply in strips. The creativity here is up to you! Just like the way you want to pay off the cover, it can be done any way you want! A quick and easy project to do, great for using up scraps that we have and giving someone as a gift, even now at the end of the year, so that the person will remember you the whole following year with your future plans written down in this journal, right?

Journal Cover Project is now available in the store! I hope you like it and I will be happy to share it if you post your cover on social media. Just tag me or add #everynotebook and that's it!

Kisses and see you in the next article! Happy sewing!!
